Earth Quakes

 Hello welcome back to my blog today i'm doing a blog about the earth quakes in 2011. 

We read a book and watched a video then answered some question Here is what I write  

How have the Christchurch earthquakes had an impact on our city? They had to rebuild lots of places and would have cost lots of money. 6,659 injured people rushed to the hospitals. The hospitable  would of been busy and there were 185 dead. 

What positives or negatives have come from the quakes? They got lots of new buildings but the negative side is that it cost a lot of money. Lots of people could have been wounded  and sick .

What are some changes that citizens have made to prevent damage happening from potential future earthquakes? Design better buildings, paced the ground with concrete.  Lots of people had to work together to help people that were injured.

Mars stuff

 Hello welcome back to my blog today I am doing a blog about mars . We had to read a book and answer some question. 

Here is the book and here is my work 

1. In your own words, summarise what happens at the Mars Desert Research Centre. Six crews learn what it feels like to live on mars. They stay at a station for 2 weeks. They were the equipment you need for mars so it feels more real. You need to eat the same food like dry fruit so you're used to it.   They spent there time learning about arternot and what it feels like to be one they live in small places .

2. What did Haritina find difficult about being at the research centre? Why? Being at the station is really hard. You're there 24/7 and it is a completely foreign environment. Sometimes it felt scary being in a strange place.

3. Why do you think it is important for astronauts to practice in an environment like this before heading into Space? So they know what it feels like to be in space and they are not scared. They need to train for what they would do in space. Other people do other jobs and some would need to use space equipment  .
