Fact's about Australia

Australia is in the west side of NZ and located in the Pacific ocean.

There are 24.2 million people in Australia.

The poplar city's in Australia is  Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide and the capital city is Canberra.

In Australia there are there are 14 holidays.  Australia Day is celebrated on 26 of January.

Australia speaks the same language as NZ which is English.

Australia national sport's Australian rules football, cricket, netball, rugby union, rugby league.

I designed this flag because the square are supposed to be stars and the leaf is supposed to be the silver fern. There were no silver fern and stars.

What Happened in Truby's Holidays

WALT write recounts.

Recounts need to include the where, when, who, and what happened.  A recount should have time connectives and be written in past tense. This one is about our holidays. Here is my recount.

My holidays

In the holidays I went to the movie theatre we had to watch the
movie I didn’t want to watch that movie was called teen titan go.

I didn’t want to watch it but is was at 3.00 and we were there at
2.37. While we were waiting we went to a place just outside of
the movie theatre. We got a hot dog it was really good.
Then we went back and my mum and dad had a hot chocolate.
I had a frozen drink the flavors were grap ,coke and another
favour. I mixed the flavors. When we went in the chars had '
two buttons one of them would  make you move back
and put your feet up. The other button will make you
sit down like on a char. After the movie will went to KFC.
When we got home we watch ghost baster.

On Monday I went to Lennox’s house we went to
the park we played soccer. Then we went to the basket
ball then Lennox’s mum,sister and brother. There dog
came with them. Me and Lennox was thirsty so we went home.
When we got home we had a drink  after we had a drink
we went and play Fortnite. We play 50 V 50 after a while
Jacob played with us. When Lennox played with Jacob ,
Jacob got a golf cart and drove Lennox off the
map and said ‘oof’. Then Lennox left the game.
I was laughing my head of. Then Lennox’s sister went
to domino we went outside to eat. After we had a game
of soccer but I forgot who won. Then we went back inside
and played call of duty black ops 4.

On Friday me ,Lennox, Lennox’s, dad and Lennox’s
mum went to Hanmer Springs. On the way there we
played a game on Lennox phone, it was called funny
snipers, it was a two player game.

When we got there  Lennox’s, dad lit the fire.
When we went back outside it was snowing.
We were trying to play basketball but it was cold.

The next day we went to the pool before that we
went to get breakfast we had 5 pancakes,whip cream ,
fruit and maple syrup.i mad a smiley face .
Then we went to play mini golf it was my first time
playing mini golf. While we was playing we saw Ryan
Crotty we took a photo with him. Lennox’s mum came
1st Lennox came  2nd me and Lennox s dad came 4th.
Then we went to the pool to day we went on the hydro
slid we went on both of them. There was a bucket filled
with water and will tip on you. We went to most of the pools
favourite was the hydro slid because you rid a chub. when
we got home we played monopoly. We didn't get to finish
monopoly because we had to go to bed.

The next day we went to the pool we stayed there
for long we got a frozen drink then we left Hammer
spring on down. We watch you tube on Lennox’s phone
then we stop at a place and got something to eat.
Then we carried on driving. Then I got home a while
later I had to go to sleep because the worst day was tomorrow.
