At The Beach

Hello,

Welcome back to my blog today I am doing a blog about EOTC week. EOTC mean 's educated outside the class . It when you go on fun activates like ice skating, paint balling,  surfing and other fun stuff. 

I haven't done a blog in so long because of EOTC week . My favorite was surfing my 2nd was paint balling and my 3rd was ice skating. Today I am going to write about what I did at surfing. I didn't get a surf board I got a bogie board . It was much easier on a bogie board. It was really windy there and the sand got in lot's of peoples eyes. When we were walking down there the wind keep blowing my board in the air it was really funny. I would go all the way were the water was up to my shoulders and I would go all the way back to the sand. A funny moment was when me and my friend caught a way and we were pushing each other so one of us could fall of our board. An other funny moment was when I try getting a wave I was to late and I was facing the wrong way and the wave smashed me and when I got up an other wave smashed me.

Writing

Hello, 

Welcome back to my blog.  Today I am doing a blog about my writing. For writing we have been learning about exploding the moment. 

Exploding the moment means you write a boring sentence and exploding the moment is when  you use more interesting and stronger words. We had to write an event and then write the moment and explode that moment. Here is an example I beat my friend  in a race. If you are exploding the moment you would write the judge clapped his hands my leg were pumping it felt  like I was going faster than a cheater then I was gone like a bullet and then I won the race. 

Here is my writing 

Event : touch

Moment : when I got a try.   

Explode:  The ref blew the whistle. Angus passed me the ball my legs were pumping as I was running down the sideline. I was as fast as a bullet I was right next to the try line I leaped and got the try. I was overjoyed, my team was cheerful.

Weekly Words

The word I have today is empty. You might be thinking that means you have nothing inside of something, like my box is empty. It means you are sad and have no emotions and you are left alone. If I could rate this out of ten I would make it in between 1 and 2.

Writing

Hello,

Welcome back to my blog today I am doing a blog about my writing. For writing I have been learning about the six senses. There is taste, hear , smell , feel, emotions and see.

My teacher gave me a sentence to start with and I had to carry on with it. We had to use the six senses in our writing and highlight it.   We had to use these 5 words which is Unfocused, Fascinating, chilly, forbidden and hesitant.

Here is my writing 

Blue hear

Red smell 

Green feel

Purple taste

Yellow see

I could hear the thunder, booming in the sky. Suddenly the lights went out and the room went pitch black.  I grabbed an old flashlight it didn’t really work that well  then I went to the forbidden basement. It was chilly down there and it smelled bad.I was hesitant to go further suddenly my flashlights went out. I used the wall to guide me to the generator but I could hear a squeaky sound I turned on the  generator. Then I used the wall to guide me to the light switch. I could feel something on my foot  I flicked my foot around and run to the door I slamed the door behind me. Then I turn the TV and PS4 on and play a Fascinating game called Fortnite. I was Unfocused about what just happened I was too focused on the game and eating ice cream. The End

For my maths  we have been learning about adding decimals. My WALT is show your thinking by recording each step. My question is 45.9+42.7 comment if you already know that.

My teacher gave us some hard question that we needed to do. For  them I used tidy numbers and written foam . I did a DLO about it with one of my friends my friend used plusing  decimals I did plusing numbers.
